I'm a complete nut for psychology stuff and especially when it has to do with my day job

Stanford University recently did a study on how your avatar in a virtual world can affect your view of yourself in real life and it was covered by NPR in an interview called "Learning from the Virtual You".

Its kinda a cool listen for anyone who likes hearing about this kind of stuff.

(This is completely personal interest and has nothing to do with SOE or EQII, just wanted to make that super clear).

The Daedalus Project: Our Virtual Bodies, Ourselves?

The Daedalus Project, the guy does a lot of surveys and stuff on mmo's. That specific article is about who is most likely to create what. Lots of interesting stuff on the site.

There used to be a guy in Shadow Company on AB who was an economics professor at either Emory University or Georgia State (big difference but I can't remember which Atlanta University) who was doing a study on the in-game economies of MMOs. I'll see if I can find his study and post it if he ever finished it.
