I have been holding off with the completion of my decorating in the hopes that a fix will arrive in the not-too-distant future. I don't want to set up my many many books on the ugly bookshelves only to find out that the good looking ones are being fixed and then have to start all over again.

The art team haven't given me any timing on any fixes to existing furniture, although they are aware of the issue. I would suggest using the large redwood bookcases -- not only do they work, they also look great.
