There have been statements made by SOE that baring a world shattering set of circumstances of cosmic proportions, they would NOT wipe test server. I understand " things can change " but 3+ year old toons on Test do indicate a very high degree of stability.
Just wanted to back this up. It would have to be something absolutely catastrophic that we didn't realize for quite a while that would force us to lose all the character data on the Test Server.
Test is as much a "live" to me as any other in terms of preserving the time that people put into their characters. Test Copy (previously called Test PvP) is the one that will get character wipes, but as mentioned you can copy your live toon back on there at any time.
