Icon3 (DominoDev) Re:Wantia Furniture Request

The reason this isn't as easy as the vale briarwood furniture set is that all this furniture is part of an adventure pack, which not everybody owns. Therefore none of these furniture art assets are globalized - which means people who didn't buy the adventure pack would not be able to see them. And we are not going to release furniture that's invisible to some people. This is the same reason we don't have more furniture from Faydwer and Maj'dul. Globalizing the art assets can be a fiddly process and takes time away from the art department doing other things, plus it adds to the patch download size/on disk size which affects everybody whether they care about furniture or not.

I'm well aware there's a ton of fabulous furniture art out there in zones that aren't globally accessible, and the wantia stuff is just a tiny part of it. But knowing it's there and making it available are not the same thing, alas. Those wonderful art folks have already globalized a bunch of stuff for us and I will definitely be continuing to haunt Haohmaru's door with more requests, but it's going to be limited by their time, download size limitations, and various other technical factors, and therefore it's going to involve some trade offs (for example, if there's room to add one item, will it be the wantia bamboo table? or something from Faydwer? etc.) which certainly won't be easy to choose between.
