The problem I see is more inherent in the mob than it is the mechanic changes. If you take those golems in Korsha or the trash in Shard of Hate yes the assassins can really spike high. The class is built to spike in about 10 seconds of fighting. So a 15-20 second fight really plays into their strengths. In vp on the trash things even out a bit more because those mobs take significantly longer to kill which averages down the assassins spikes. Also the named fights which is what really counts the dps numbers largely fall in line depending on the group and gear of the player.
Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses though and thats something you have to keep in mind. An assassin on adds while fighting Overking or Avatars is kind of a waste while other classes excel really well. Currently there isnt a lot of that but going forward the content guys are looking to throw in more variety so everyone can shine a bit but overall the mechanics changes are largely in line with what we are looking for.
