Please tell me that those gorgeous tapestries are NOT going to be a LON loot card?? PLEASE say it aint so!!
Um ... what part of the EQ2traders crafting preview clearly stating they're tradeskilled by carpenters using rare T7 roots wasn't clear on that?
Folks who play LoN are also in that game to have fun, and of course we like them to have fun and we like them to have nice rewards for their play time just like in EQII. But that certainly doesn't mean that folks won't have similar nice rewards too outside of LoN, and the tapestry of flames and tapestry of the malign are most definitely tradeskilled. I would hope we can give different, but similar, items to both games and offer a nice set of choices to players; and as you've already seen, there's a veritable plethora of new and great-looking house items available within EQII itself in this update.
And yes, as someone else mentioned there will also be some similar tapestries (and a couple of other house items) available via this coming LoN expansion, and they will look just as nice, but be based on different (LoN) cloaks. There will also be more similar tapestries available to crafters in the future via non-LoN channels, showing other custom cloak patterns like the Brell day cloak, so do not fear there will be a lack of choice.
There is also a stickied thread in this forum with some tips on how to get LoN house items without playing LoN if you do wish to do so, and it's worth checking out. However, I hope the items in this update will give a wide enough selection of options that they should make decorators quite happy, whether they're LoN players or not. And considering all the nice things for crafters in this update, I'm likely to get grumpy if I hear too many "all the nice stuff goes to LoN" posts when that's clearly not the case!

Wait and see what is out there, and I think you'll find there are some very nice items for home decorators to look forward to in EQII.
