Personally, I agree - I much prefer the city merchant paintings and actively dislike the LoN ones. But, like everything, taste in house items is very subjective and obviously there are people who do like the LoN painting style. It's impossible to cater in every way to every different taste, but we can provide a wide selection of nice items from a wide variety of means.
Still, you'll notice there's a nice non-LoN painting with GU46 and perhaps there will be more in the future. Just because not everything is available NOW NOW NOW does not mean it never will be.
