The easiest solution to find out would be to move. Just go to a low cost home and move in for a week. If your stuff is still around, it will all be neatly packed in a crate and waiting for you.
While you were gone we changed how moving works, and it automatically crates everything when you move.
If you don't like the idea of redecorating, you have to click the doors till you find yer home!
