Lend Lease did play an important role in the Soviet war effort, yes, I won't deny that!

But still, the real turning points of the war was the battle at Stalingrad and then then push to the eventual Capture of Berlin by the Soviets.

The Germans survived the winter no worse off than the Soviets, though it halted their initial advance just short of Moscow and allowed the Soviets to regroup (the Germans would have taken the capital had they begun the invasion a month sooner). Of their three invading army groups in Russia, the Germans lost an entire one in Stalingrad because Hitler forced them to stay there, refused to allow them to retreat to a stronger strategic position, and made it retardedly easy for the Soviets to completely encircle the city and starve off the Germans. It was all downhill from there.

The reason the invasion was delayed? Hitler wanted to teach the occupied people in Yugoslavia a lesson after a very minor rebellion. Why was the German army pinned down in Stalingrad? Hitler thought he'd ultimately win over Stalin by taking the city named after him. It's all pretty fucking silly when you think about it.

Soviet Union won only because they they had a very large source of people and Hitler probably thought that soviet zerg wasn't a problem! All in all a lot of people died in that war and we lost too much. Stalin was an idiot, he actually didn't beleive Germany would attack us till the day it happened and only because of the few people we weren't destroyed like most other countries.

Stalin made clear to Zhukov on the final thrust to Berlin, there are no reinforcements or reserves.
