The droprate on these seems extremely low. I /feedbacked this, as did others. We were killing hundreds of mobs and only getting 1 each or so. Any chance we can have the drop rate on these increased before the event goes live?
Other than that, this has to be the best live event so far. Guild halls, furniture scaling, new recipes, tons of live event stuff etc. Awesome job!
There was an announcement that this wasn't meant to go live yet and has been turned off. That's prolly why there is no drop rate.
I've been looking for the announcement on the forums, and bugger all if I can find it. All I know is that I have a couple of characters standing in front of the mansion in Somborn like fat-grade idiots, and the quest has been removed entirely from their journal.
I can understand disabling the quest, but good grief - at least allow people to retain the information in their journals so they can pick up where they left off. Talk about tacky.
WeatherMan, I am sorry to hear of your confusion. You seem to be under the impression that the Nights of the Dead quests were specifically targeted for removal from your characters. They weren't. When an event is deactivated all aspects related to it are turned off. This automatically includes any quests that are part of that event that you have not completed. The Nights of the Dead event was not ready for testing. Someone activated it on Test server when it shouldn't have been. This is why it was deactivated. It will return on Sept 30th. I hope that helps you!
