There are no plans to offer new character slots at this time.
There is a metric butt-ton of data associated with characters and would cause strain on our current servers.
It's been stated in the past that in the future, when more robust systems are put in place, that the issue can be revisited. So for now, the short answer is: No, we're very sorry.
