Now we can wait another 3 months for them. This expansion in feburary had better be good or I'm done. Im tired of logging into my toon just to see the gear Ive worked for get nerfed time and time again. Junk zones added but not tested, its getting really old.

Ok, so you didn't like GU53. That's too bad that there's not something in there that you liked with such a huge list of changes and updates.

What is your idea of a perfect game update? What would you like to see in GU54?

Since this thread got deleted on the official forums...

1) A Game Update where feedback is actually taken from players on major issues and APPLIED, not just thrown in a fucking trash can.
2) A Game Update that doesn't completely glitch the game up for 1-2 days and doesn't fuck the Euros over from having new content for nearly a week.
3) A Game Update that doesn't remove all desire and will for anyone at a high-end level to bother to even play the game because the gear they've been passing to alts/transmuting is > the gear that they earned from a contested spawn.

That's all I want *shrug*

It was OP anyways, I guess you will just have to stop playing the game on ez mode.

Just for the record, the avatar gear was nerfed because the dev's have a complete lack of vision and foresight, and had no idea where to go next. So instead of being creative, they took away the abilities that was on the avatar gear for the last year, just so they can reapply them to the gear in the next expansion.

To be honest in the end I don't mind the avatar gear nerfs at all. It actually brings value back to have group buffs/temp buffs (SK 6% base, illys DR etc) and it actually brings value back to all my procs instead of being so close to the cap all I needed was a troub mythical to cap out on everything like base. I still am pushing for slight boosts to the gear but it's not bad.

the nerfs themselves arent the worst part (although some things need to be fixed), it the amazingly shitty communication between the devteam and the players

The only thing worth a fuck in this update was the buffs persisting through death. The rest of it was mega fail........

I'll just go through the standard procedure for all EQ2 changes.


1) Be shocked that such a thing was even suggested. Insist everything is fine as it is any anyone who thinks it needs to be changed is an idiot.

2) Deny that SoE would make said changes to my [Gear/Class/Race/Tradeskill] state that they would never be dumb enough to do such at thing.

3) Try to present arguments on why the said change should not be made, these will run the full gambit from well thought out and reasoned to "f00k S0E fascist nazi's!!(&^*^"

4) Become pissed and threaten to quit. Go on and on about how this change will be the one that makes me quit and totally destroys the game costs everyone at SoE their jobs and gives the entire playerbase cancer.

5) QQ to everyone that that hasn't already put me on ignore about the changes.

6) Get over it and keep paying my monthly fee.
