It's bullshit that he doesn't have a code comparison tool that compares code in live to code on his client. Any IT department is going to have these kinds of tools to be able to track down what didn't get pushed. What a lazy bastard.

I once got someone fired for saying the same thing to me when I asked them to do something "outside" of their job description. Just sayin...

Anyway, while he was a total dickhead in the way he phrased what he said, and it totally sounds like "Its not my job so don't cry to me about it" argument, I do at least understand where he's coming from. While I think the guy has NFC about how the game actually works, he at least tries sometimes to fix shit. Too bad he just usually gets it wrong.

And what I just said is just as irrelevant. He wasn't trying to be a dick, read the thread. He asked for feedback and people got bitchy. He made the point that it's not actually in his job to patrol the forums for bugs. If people don't want him to respond like a dick then people shouldn't act like it. He wasn't even being a dick there, just responding to others matter-of-factly as he again asked for more info so he could at least try to work with it.It's wholly unfair to get mad at him when people can't show some basic respect for another person that's actually trying to do more than his actual job.

His record from this very thread says you're wrong. It's a strange way to ignore people asking them for more details and actually fixing stuff when you get the info you need.

First off this was a problem he knew about prior to this thread. Second he does nothing but say "Oh hey this shoulda been fixed" to "Oh wow looks like i need more examples bc I cant test shit out myself" to "oh well bug report it and maybe something will happen."

Fuck that and fuck him. He doesn't need MORE details we have already told him the problem. This is not the first time he's heard of it. This is just another example of his stupidity.

Ignoring what tools he should have but does not, he already explained what the issue was and explained much earlier that a lot of the fixes are beyond his scope and apparently ability.For his schedule he doesn't have time to dick around with every possible combo and asked clearly for an example of two clashing items/effects. He asked for more info, he acknowledged the problem was a corrupted code push. He actually did put in work before to fix some stuff, again evidenced it that very thread but the broken code push forces him into a bad spot.

Fyreflyte has his issues, this thread is not evidence of them. If anything, this thread paints him favorably while the insistent attacks divorced from both what he's said and done makes us look like whiny bitches who can't read what's in front of our faces.He's asked for info, explained why he needs it as he attempts to fix it and in exchange, we're abusive.

Be like Xalmat who manages to respond without looking like an ass and making the point quoting her very first post in the thread.
