You get the upgraded spells like you have in the past but you just don't get any brand new spell lines.

rly pushing exp back 3/4 months, and no spells added? they better fuckin makes this a hell on an exp...

Wow. Unless there's a bunch of new active achievements, combat is going to be identical for like 5 years in a row which is pretty dull.

Well, they're "supposed" to be expanding the entire KoS and EoF trees with new abilities there instead. Not to mention maybe even redoing the shitty AAs.

Some spells / CAs should be getting re-touched also, which will be a welcome change for many classes. If you could get a new spell, or fix a current broken spell which would you choose?

Idk kuz I'd honestly pick getting KO combo over having rock skin changed anyday.

Maybe it's just psychological but I've always found getting a new spell/ability to be better than an AA. The spells feel more defining of a character whereas AA feel more like accessories.

If I had to choose and considering who's doing it? New ability. I shouldn't have to choose though. I shouldn't even have to wait until the expansion to get most of the stuff fixed but at least I'm used to that.

I'm all for fixes but I like shiny and new as well. Not getting a new shiny next expansion just makes me ask what exactly Aeralik does and is doing. Doesn't help that he has laid out yet more hints with no overview about what's to come practically 3 months form the expansion.

Considering how 4 of 5 new abilities I've gotten in the expansions are terrible, I think I'd rather them rework the "new" abilities into making them something that didn't suck.

Savante, awesome ability, but with how much power gear is available now, it's diminished in value but still a good ability.
Illusory Group, terrible after the last nerf to it which made their HP only 2k or so instead of ~10k.
Spellshield, useless outside of PvP after they "fixed" it(no longer reflected any/all spells, just ones that a class has).
Phase, complete and utter joke of an ability.
Doppleganger, in beta great design, late beta, completely useless.

So yeah, how about they look at those useless abilities.
