It may have just been a rumor floating around in a thread either here or the official forums. I tried to look through fan faire notes I had read in the past, and I didn't see it anywhere.

It may just be wishful thinking on the part of people who don't want to be bored with the next expansion after a month or two.

But I could have sworn there was talk somewhere about how there would be new armor sets every level, because each level would take a lot longer in the next expansion.

wow, let's hope not for new set armor every level. The more tiers that they have in itemization the more they are going to screw up itemization. I wouldn't mind a level 85 set and a level 90 set, but 10 heroic sets for each class? That must be a rumor.

I think a slow level progression would be good for casual players that have a heroic endgame. But for raiders, a progression that slow just means it takes a hell of a long time just to see the new raid content, let alone progress through it. Then again, there are still a lot of raid guilds that haven't progressed through TSO content and avatars, so it would make the TSO raid content easier to progress through. I guess a slow progression like that would only screw over the raiders that have cleared all of TSO.

I wouldn't mind slower leveling except that I'm always slow at leveling to begin with. I used to find it interesting to find dungeons that were actually too hard to get into right away. How long did people go to Karnors for? Three days after the expansion was released? Though maybe that was because group exp was messed up compared to solo quests.

That and the loot was terrible and by the time they revamped it everyone was already 80.
