I mentored to lvl 5 and unmentored to 80 and the mob thats spawned at 50% would turn into a vortex that you coudlnt dmg and spawn some adds you kill the adds you can then dmg the vortex then it turns back into the mob. The mob did this about 16 times for me before i gave up.
Unless there is a check to make sure you are in a group, which if there is should be stated by a npc somewhere, this zones is bugged
It's not bugged there is a trick to it. There is a reason there is only one encounter in this zone.
