I collected a few questions that were posted here since things began and have done my best on answers... work with me folks I'll do what I can for ya.

Why is the naming policy forcing name changes up front?
That's good isn't it? No worries over the added 'x' and all that right? OK, I didn't message that it was going to happen that way, and yes I knew the page was there even yesterday... but I went with how I was told it should work out. From what I can tell, we have deviated from the path there, but for the better.

Getting a new name is a pain, plus that means I'm giving up *my* old name?!?
If you can't get a new name that makes you or the system happy, throw in an 'x' or two and think on it for the week.; Then file the /petition and request a name change after you've had time to brew up ideas. The rules on 'he whom had this name the longest' will apply (The character who was made first will get the name, provided he's been in the game in the last 60 days). Not perfect, but you can buy yourself some time and get it next week.

How long will it take to transfer?
Quite literally, as long as it takes. This may vary for each person, and even each character. There are a multitude of reasons as to why that may be - and your guess is likely to be one of them. Save for "Grimwell's an idiot." That's never the right answer!

Why is my character 'On Hold' ??
I'm working on a better answer for this, but reports from CS are that if you left anything on the Broker it will definitely cause this sort of delay.

Why didn't you post at Midnight about the gates being opened?

• Reason #1 - I did post about the timing more times than I can remember yesterday, and hoped people would take note.
• Reason #2 - I was playing my own character at that point and when they went down I moved to Reason #3.
• Reason #3 - Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Do I need to transfer my EU PvP characters to Venekor?
I've seen some mention this. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO THAT!!! You were merged onto Venekor yesterday and the characters you see on your European PvP server will fade as those servers are removed from the list.

What's up with the Credit Card thing?; I don't use a credit card!
With the price being set to $0.00 you won't be charged. Not even sales tax. I know some people are hesitant to share their CC info with a big corporation, but it's normal for that form. The team that turned the pricing off didn't make the connection that the CC part of the standard flow needed a change -- because it's normal. If you are using Game Cards or Global Collect -- I'm communicating with the team on that page for a solution. In the meantime the... um... alternative solution... others seem to have tried does work because we aren't validating the CC info for the process while it's free...

I hope these answers help some. Remember, you have a full week to do this, and just two moves. If you aren't bent on having the change NOW give it a day or two to let the dust settle! That's what I'm doing!
