Update:

We still have a few kinks to work out of our new merge scripts but are planning to start the mergers just as soon as we have a solid QA pass on our test merge with no remaining problems.

We're basically working on solidifying the process every day and as soon as we have a test run with zero issues, we will announce a solid date for the first merge. It could literally be any day now.
