I was in a group with a friend doing the Heroic version and his Fury was getting ported, and then punted across the room. There was no way for him to run back before everyone was dead. We only won the fight with an inquisitor helping and him burning a miracle of fast in-combat runspeed.

The AE and the Summon/teleport are two different things. I can take a look at the teleport and reduce the distance it throws you to possibly help out twiht that.

The hell is wrong with it, not tank and spank enough? Just take out the killing the portals part of the script and have her invite you for tea and be done with the encounter nerfs.

I think the fight is fine is tough *at the point of progression it lies in* especially considering folks who can't nail this fight can kill the first 5 names in ToFS x2 with their eyes closed. But since you only need 1 person flagged it's fine.

My issue is, Priests get ported and punted. Not every tank that is geared at the level one would expect at this point in progression can stay up long enough to deal with the group's solo priest being out of commission for 10-12 seconds.

Of course people are facerolling this fight with EM and HM gear. Not surprising.

The fight is fine. If your priest gets punted use a parry and/or deathsave and/or stoneskin. Or if you're really having problems (maybe your priest is being chain ported or somthing idk) bring 2 healers?

I've always thought that this fight had too many "scripty things" going on, especially for an entry level raid zone. I can see it causing problems for undergeared casual players or for players who sell SC cards for plat, then turn around and buy easy mode gear out of auction.

On second thought, maybe they should stick to crafting and house decorating and leave the raiding to the professionals.
