A point of clarification about when the beta starts (for Fan Faire folks):
When LoN patches into your game, you will see the launcher/icon for it on your games UI. That will be the go point!
I'm thinking Monday the 8th was supposed to be Wednesday the 8th, but I took today off to recover, so I don't know for sure. Best bet is just to wait until we clarify on the website.
As a Magic: the Gathering player, I'm very excited about Legends of Norrath. It has some serious depth, so it is more than a trivial game in terms of strategy and tactics, but it's not soooo deep that you cant learn as you go. I had a lot of fun with it during the playtests and can't wait to play it live.
