Sounds to me like what you're really asking for is non-buggy furniture, not really a theme problem. Happily, we are not planning on a "buggy" theme for furniture for T8.
And yes, there will be some new furniture from the new expansion style, which I think everyone will expect and want. But there will be a variety of other items also. At this point all I can say is wait and see in beta.
