We wanted to move the Tech forums up in visibility, near the very top of all the SOE game forums. Which is why they are higher.
The rename to "Support" was done to standardize it and make it easier for new players to hit any of our forums and identify where to go to for help. The group was collapsed to make Support stand out.
I'll likely tinker more, and am open to polite suggestions - though I won't promise to do any of them (dev promises make me queasy). The end goal is to make sure people who need help see it without having to scroll down the list, and can get the help they need ASAP. It is an admitted work in progress though, so tweaks will be happening!
