Interesting... guess I could try a respec and see if Fortissmo will in fact add another +200 to my DPS. IMO it seems like a waste of AA points though if you're not utilizing the abilites that require a shield, (ie shield bash & the other 30+% DA you get from using the shield) just to get 10% DA. But thanks for the tip, I might just give it a try.

don't be silly. it's 10% melee DA and 10% ranged DA for you and the rest of your group. that's a pretty damn significant bonus.

and don't forget that double attack works for both weapons when dual wielding.

the shield stuff gives you some bonuses for soloing, but there's really no need for a shield when raiding since you're probably not taking any physical hits. dual wielding has pulled ahead a bit more with the conversion of dual wields to one-handers. so... yeah, it sounds silly to get all those things for the double attack and not use them. but, unfortunately, that's one of the more useful options available.

Initially my build was -

Sta 4-4-4-8
Wis 4-4-6-8-2
Agi 4-8-4-8

this was my first test while we were instancing every night, and poison concoction ended up boning me enough times on the drusella fight that I dropped agi for int, now as a DPS/OT group scout i'm -

Sta 4-4-4-8 20
Wis 4-4-6-8-2 24
Agi 4-1 5
Int 4-4-6-6 20 (riana's 50 dps, weapon boon 48 to skills)

As people in my guild get more RoK gear and are closer to the skill cap for this expansion, I'll most likely dump int again in favor of something else, will just have to see.

I keep a free respec card around in case we ever find an encounter that screams omfg blade dance now, but going into t3 today/Monday it has yet to be an issue.

I recently changed guilds and it looks like im out of the MT group and into the scout group.

I was running

agi 4 4 4 8
Sta 4 4 4 8
wis 4 6 4 8 2
str 4 1

Now that im no longer getting a dps mode from the coercer in the group im in. I changed my spec a little on the fly. I see this tread hasnt been updated in awhile so i just wanted to see how scout group dirges are specced.

I changed to:

Sta 4 4 4 8
Wis 4 6 4 8 2
Int 4 4 4 8
Agi 4 1 (havent tested to see if im better off in str (4 1) for getting the 10sec ae immunity to avoid having to joust or being able to stealth with bump and getting both my stealthed attacks in faster

Also im curious to why above you put 2 points into speed and not your bow attack in the wisdom line not that we sit back and fire off arrows or anything.

Probably because the bow attack sucks and you shouldn't ever use it. 1s cast time for 400 damage, umm no thanks.

The only use of the bow attack is to add a little tiny bit more hate to the tank on an initial pull. Other than that there is no need to put more points in it than you have to IMO.

I'm also using the STA / WIS / INT set up with Bump from the AGI line as a DPS / OT group dirge mostly. The STR AoE immunity could be useful but with some competent healers its usually not an issue and with the upcoming cure change in GU 45 it will be even less of an issue.

I wasnt really worried about taking the ae damage as much as the fact I have to leave mellee range and joust.

as far as where the 2 points go, speed or range attack, really neither have much benifit but we have to drop the points somewhere in the line to get DKtM. I really didnt want to get into where the 2 points where dumped into in this thread but wanted to know some dps group dirges aa line on which has the highest dps on ACT. Assume im geting no other DPS or haste modes other then my own.
