I've not been playing a Dirge long at all (like a coupla months on and off) as my main is a raiding warden I've been playing for nearly 2 years, but I'm really enjoying playing my dirge.

But given our guild already has it's raiding dirge slots filled, the chance are my lil dirge ain't gonna see many raids if any.

So what would the panel recommend I keep an eye out for equipment-wise for the dirge that can be obtained outside of raids?

She's currently lvl 64, and almost entired kitted out in T7 mastercrafted kit (both weaps, armour and jewellry - WTH is with the bright red boobs on the BP??).

Any particular zones/instances/nameds she should focus on hitting to gear up with upgrades to that lot?

And apologies if this has been asked before - I did have a trawl through this forum, but most of the discussions were weapon focussed, and mostly named weapons that are raid mob drops....

So if I've missed the answer - feel free to call me a noob and point me in the right direction :-)

outside of raids there is quite a lot you can get for t7

Darkened Gauntlets - common drop in Unrest I believe and can also be bought off the broker - has nice haste buff

Sour Song Choker - more rare from Unrest but can occasionally find on broker but rarely.... great piece as has both crits

If you are evil the Rallos Zek Deity Cloak is one of, if not, the best for non raiding acquired gear

Think there was a nice hat in Vaults, if you ever do x2 MMC there is a lot of nice items there like Pants, can get the class set armor throughout EOF of course which these days shouldnt be as hard to get given the "smart loot" options which are nice for gearing up in legendary equipment.

This dirge forum actually has a "Raid Gear guild" stickied at the top - but theres 5+ pieces of non raid loot in there I believe (most of which I probably mentioned already)

Even some weapons that aren't "uber" but good can be bought on the broker like the Dirk of Negativity I think it is from Halls of Seeing - common drop and tradeable. Bloodsoaked gloves may be on the broker too. Definitely some nice stuff just not around lvl 64 probably - you still got a few lvls to go.

There are a few more items that are really good to have before raid gear in my opinion:

Planar Orb of the Wanderer (KoS Collection)
Orb of the ... (KoS Collection)
Necklace of Shadowy Strikes (Obelisk of Blight)
Bone Clasped Girdle (Heritage Quest - but I think it is still in the top 5 list)

I personally think the mastercrafted agility ring shouldn't be on the list. It only procs off CAs, which we only have a handful of. I tested it and was very disappointed. Ring of the Four Winds ftw.

The haste proc is up quite often, sure it's not up all the time like the DPS proc is, but it's still up often enough to warrant a place on the list, cause let's face it, the proc itself is very good.

And besides, he said non-raid loot =p
