1st draft of the list is complete. I probably missed a bunch of items so feel free to post them or post about any of the rankings that don't make sense.

A few notes:

I combined the main hand and off hand weapons to 1 category because all T8 weapons are off hand usable.

The Bloodthirsty Choker got fixed once RoK got released and adds a true base 10% now making it significantly better than anything out there for DPS. Keep in mind though, that it's not always practical to use it.

The Wuoshi bow is the best bow in the game for DPS because arrow mechanics are broken. Dragonhawk only ranks ahead of it because the DPS numbers are somewhat close and it has an innate 7 dps mod.

I'd still say +8 piercing mod on Three Princes hat > Dirge Coif of Lamenting Ballads.

The only justification I could see would be the mitigation and set bonus. However there are plenty other set pieces WAY more beneficial to wear vs that stupid hat.

great list like always , atleast gives me a few pointers where to look for stuff and what to drop

presuming its still true that the set bonus of (t7) cob beats the living shit out of the t8 bonus (and i presume it still does)

would wearing 3 t7 eof setparts give more dps as the top items on the list (for a decently setup raid) or would it be better to drop the t7 set, and go for the personal dps/t8 raidset? (more dps for a raid as a whole that is, or rather the group ya run in)

The ideal situation is going to be probably to wear the 5 piece set and get Alacrity from the Defiler and Jesters from a Troub. If they don't nerf the fuck out of mob HP, the average fight is long enough to warrant using the EoF 5 set instead of the RoK 3 set.

However, this is EQ2 and we haven't seen an expansion where the main zone's loot wasn't significantly revamped, so I'd be very surprised if the VP sets continued to suck ass in the next couple of months.

These legs are very nice for bards, considering they are not from a raid. They are not fabled so I don't expect them to make the list, but they are worth knowing about:
