Or just make a macro that says /act_end and hit it when the encounter dies/fight is over. If ya want something done right do it yourself.
Besides that tho, wasn't this debate squashed in parse threads back in EoF? Some guilds pull more than 1 mob at a time (chain pull as 1 is dieing) or just get roaming adds that make 2 encounters now become 1. Im surprised people still bring up encounter numbers, look at the time durations.
