Default Re: T8 Dirge Parses

Not as fancy as other parses here but:

Executioner's Throne Room
1445.81 minus Pawbuster (hate that fight i have to say)

Something interesting. I DW Soulfire Gladius & Anaphylaxis
There was another dirge in the raid that 1h + Shield Anaphylaxis & Ferox's Wing. I was in MT Group, he was in DPS Group.
My parse 1445.81 his 1418.00. The interesting part though is our hits are a close match up;
him: 410 swing, 345 hit, 40% of his DPS.
me: 273+207 swing, 240+177 hit, 20%+20% of my DPS.

We both have a lot similar match up in AAs I believe. So I just thought it interesting that DW & 1h both parsed near the same. Granted as I said he was DPS group i was MT group, so being in the same group the difference would probably be greater but yeah.

And now a few questions.
Is it possible the Offhand can proc a Double Attack? I use to believe all procs came from the Main hand only, including DA. But watching my Combat Log last night during raid I was seeing A Slash hit followed by 2 Piercing hits. My Main hand is the Gladius which is Slashing, Offhand is Anaphylaxis which is the Piercing. So is it possible Offhand was really procing DA?

Also question on Delay. I'm looking to have Anaphylaxis & Carotidcutter for raid weapons until we are doing higher tiers and get my hands on the better weapons. Would it be most beneficial to have Anaphylaxis in Main Hand as it has the highest delay of the 2? If all procs are indeed off of the Main hand only, and both weapons are going to have the same delays in either hand, and proc rate is based on the base delay of the Main hand; then wouldn't it be best to have the highest delay weapon in Main hand to get the most procs out of it?

It's an independant check, like crit, on the first swing of each hand whether you hit or miss. It's possible to not double attack main hand, and double attack offhand since each hand is treated independantly.

The offhand procs the proc innate to the offhand weapon when the offhand swings. The main hand is obviously responsible for all your proc gear and procs innate to the main hand weapon.

You generally want the highest delay mainhand along with the type of damage you have the most skill in, however, if your offhand has a badass proc and the delays are similar than you should consider switching it to main hand because of CA procs.

What about imbue procs that say, "proc will only fire off of primary hand" or something to that effect? If you put one on your off hand weapon is it a complete wast? Or can it fire on your main hand even though the imbue is on your off hand.

Adornments, once applied, become an innate proc on the weapon you applied it to.

quick question here, wanted to know where you guys usualy are on the parse in comparision to a guardian mt ? i was generaly a bit below him, changed a couple of things yesterday on UI, bought some new spells and such, i ve been a bit more focused and i outparsed him a lot (kor-sha / executioner / TnT) during the eve, being mt dirge...

so is it normal to be above him, and i was doing something wrong before ? or was he suckin on his dps yesterday or whatever ?

btw dont have any screens, sorry i dont bother doing em, but i parsed between 1.4 and 1.9k in kor-sha (didnt gave the zw... weird) and 2k+ on executioner's trash, mt grp.
