A 356 regenning ward is a lot more useful than 100 str/agi.

And no, they don't stack like someone else already mentioned. The more powerful one takes effect.

On those noxious mobs, the ward heals for quite a bit, or well wards, specifically if you don't have a 100k dps raid setup. The ward actually gets me on the heal parse for like 20k or more on thos noxious casting mobs. 20k heals may not sound like alot to an uber raid force, for working your way through the new raid content, it seems significant to me...

How many dirges is your guild running in your raid set up? If you are running 3, have the scout group dirge run Nox Song on encounters that use Nox. If you are only running 2 dirges and not split tanking a mob then have the Non-MT group dirge run it.
The ward is something like 358 per tick and it does not stack.
I think the other question was is it benifial? Well its large resist buff raid wide and has a 358 pt. ward (has a chance to crit for more) x 24 raiders is a minimum of 8592 pts (per tick) of damage your saving your raid. What songs is your scout group dirge Running? You scout group dirge should be able to free a conc. that doesnt take anything away from his group. Encounters like Doomcoil for example the scout group dirge outside of his DPS mode and damage proc all of his other songs should be interchangable.

Yep exactly im the scout dps dirge and i run it since i am able to free up a slot.
But i did not put points into it cuz i do not think it is worth it still. If it does not stack and 3 out of 4 group have a shaman in my raids its not worth it to me. But thats just me.

troubs get these things for their resist buffs too.
last night, i had 3% of the heal parse from warding one AE.
over 50,000 points of healing.

and that's not including the extra amount some people mitigated from having higher resist.

but sure, that's not worth it.

It definetly rocks in CoD. Between OoS and this ward, I think I healed 456k or so in one pull. Made the heal parse above some of the healers hehe. A spare gravitas on the dirge before the DoT lands can be handy.

Similar but less dramatic results against VS, at least back when the fights took longer.

@ Tanarion, just to clarify, I don't think that anyone here has said that this does not stack with shaman wards.

I just came across this post and I wanted to mention that I used the ward with Levi and I once got 2nd on the heal parse. The next time I got 5th. If you aren't using this for Levi, yikes!

I'll ask my other dirge to put it on for the Levi raid today and see if the wards will stack.
