Int vs agi has been talked about before. the thought i believe, is that agi>int because your group members will get less off the extra to dps and skill buffs than you lose from the poison proc. it has to do with the point of diminishing returns on dps and skill mods. dps starts giving diminishing returns around 100 dps mod and the consensus seems to be that skills over 450 dont help

My personal cast order is gravitas when 5 sec left on pull, that way its up while im running to the mob to start debuffing after that its Shroud, grim strike, bump, scream, shriek blade, claras, rythym blade, cob, dis debuff, vile blade, piercing shriek and then cast whatever til one of these refreshes and keep spemming anything thats not gray

It's going to need to be reevaluated with the next LU, assuming crushing/slashing/piercing actually has more weight against orange cons. The specifics weren't given on how melee hit rates are being fixed, so it may need to be reevaluated.

With that said, I still don't think it'll add 500-700 DPS, which is what Bump and Poison have the potential of adding.

If I may ask you to revisit this thread then, as I did test it(with a reprieve potion so could affect shammy wards differently) and found that it didn't increase the ward unless gravitas was cast first. Still casting it on the defiler on the 10 count... usually like said above gives me time to cast it on the Templar just after debuffing.

Wish I could keep it more to the dps topic but y'all got me beat lol (only dirge main in a casual-ish guild with a lack of chanters issue lol)

I have tried both specs out and at this time I believe that the agility line is better due to the diminishing returns, damage gained by the party vs. the extra damage you will put out. There is some talk to changes in the next LU so it will probably have to be revisted then.

Im going to do some testing next week on this exact thing, although my guild is a bit undergeared in general so the dps buff will probable help me out more than most posters.

I recently (last couple weeks) went from

Agi- 4 1
Int- 4 4 4 8

and am now back to

Agi- 4 4 4 8
Int- 4 1

I found that the gains from the int line were so minimal on VP mobs and Avatars that it wasn't worth it at all. Accuracy went up maybe 3%. If that. Less for the other scouts, who have stances. And everyones DPS mod is well into diminishing returns anyways. I didn't bother too much with looking at the yellow con stuff, because, well, hit rates are a lot higher anyways.

I like the feel of the poison buff and the dps it brings is still like 4%, which is good. If more singed would just freakin drop I can start working up to the 6 set bonus, which I feel will be the death knell for the 4th ability in the int line. At that point it might be worth testing to see how much of a difference rhythm blade makes. Maybe move the 5 points over to str for self aoe block.

This is exactly what people like myself and Jingizu have been saying for weeks now in guk.dirges (not that you can see it from Nagafen), thanks for taking the time to post your results.

That really bugs me too. I really hate that we can't join world channels. I'd honestly be surprised if same class flaming from the pvp world actually broke out in those channels.
