Probably either ring of dark intent or dreamers scale, w/e can drop for us. Reason would be that I would wear sash of pain over the avatar belt and the choker over mascot. As of right now, ill keep using the baldric until i can get the sash.

Dreamer's Scale is a horrible choice now because they suddenly decided after like 5 months to make three earrings that are fucking amazing.

lol yeah actually that vote was just quickly glancing at the list, just got into the game to compare some of the items. I'd still use ring of dark intent over anything else with the signet of betrayel for my other ring slot, and that circle and trooper procs would be epic

Just so you know, the Ascot increases melee range by 100% to around 10m and ranged by 50% it seems.

I'm in the same situation. Got the Belt of Flowing Manifestations because the belt slot sucked at the time and you can't rely on any specific item you want from an avatar dropping since it's like a 3% chance of getting the item you want and when you factor in variance, you can easily go 6 months without seeing it.

Since I've been in the MT group a lot lately, the Choker isn't always a viable option so I definitely want an Ascot as well for those encounters and the reach effect would be pretty useful on Avatars, but that'll probably not happen anytime soon.

I think the only practical slots at the moment to use haste in is Belt, Ring, or Neck.

That is what was mainly driving me towards the ring option, my guild has only recently started killing avatars, and the chance of getting the mascot to drop, and then win it is slim with just having the few avatars we have been able to kill.

The Avatar dropped pieces are kind of a toss up of being absolutely best, but getting them to drop and in quantity of enough to be able to get one as a Dirge makes it more difficult.

Far and away the Baldric is the easiest to obtain and best piece for the slot excluding the proc belt from SoH.

I would have to go with the Baldric unless the Ascot or Flowing starts dropping like crazy.
