The worst possible scenario is when you do your chains and spell rotations and they feel natural and seemless and you look at the parse to find out your numbers still suck.

I'm grinding...I'm grinding... 65% into 77 now. I'm getting tired of being on the bottom of the raid parse list though.

couple things:

Most of my songs/CA are at App3.

Get the ones you know will not be upgraded in the next couple levels to AD3. All the rest you use often, grab AD1.

I find though that every one is all wadded up on the mob and spells are going off and I can barely see the mob at all, let alone tell which is the front and which is the back.

Turn your particle effects down. At least bring down spell per character to off or as min as you can go. You will then be allowed to SEE the mob without all the spell effects.

Zoom your camera out a little bit until you can get correctly positioned.

If you still need help positioning, use the target Arrows under options. You can set it so you have an arrow above the head of the mob you are attacking AND an arrow above the head of their target, which should be the MT.

SOB is the only spell that you need to be in absolute perfect position to get off. I would hold out on casting that until you know you are in the right spot and do not shroud, and wonder wtf happened. Everything else should go off fine so long as you are in the general area you should be at.
