For the Magnetic Note discuss I only used when i was in guild stuck on the OK for helping tanks with snap back aggro......

I'm specced as a MT dirge or dps grp setup as followed:

Str: 4-4-6-6
Agi: 4-1
Sta: 4-4-4-8
Wis: 4-4-6-8-1

I like to give more avoid/attribute increases vs.dps/attack speed that we already have buffed a shat load with various classes in raid
I also love keeping turnstrike being i rarely die in any fight although no bladedane for last 6 months i keep myself and to be able to rez/heal on the fly and keeping buffs up while others crap to aoe's who are squishy

i was down agi line at one point but on ACT i wasn't seeing it proc that much so i busted out of that line into half of int to the haste/dps.....but being in a MT grp alot i went back to the str line to beef up the MT and our hate trans scout

Why the hell would you go STR and not max out Parry? The 6 in STR/AGI is completely useless.

I love Mag Note. It's gotta be the best spell to really eff with everyone. I love to cast it on the troubs and watch the raid leader shout, Watch your Aggro! You should see the troubs light up like they did something worthwhile.

Now...about DW vs. Sword and Board...

I keep going back and forth over which is better, and the conclusion that I've reached (and the smarter Dirges can correct me if I'm wrong) is that DW wins if you have a 3.5s delay offhand. At least, that's what I'd assume, as I have no 3.5s delay weapon to test with. So here's what I did, so you can see why I'm still S&B.

My S&B setup is Mythical+Wheel of Nightmares. AA setup: STA (4-4-8-8) WIS (4-4-6-8-2) INT (4-4-4-8) I parsed on a few (meaning 20+) dummies in the Guild Hall, un-grouped. My parses seemed to average around 3k (2.7k to 3.3k, I threw out the two highest and two lowest for a bit more statistical accuracy). My auto attack was around 62% of my total DPS.

For DW I used Mythical+Ekron's Blade or Claw of Khalen (not the best, I know, but they're what I have) I switched em around a few times to see which would do better. AA setup was AGI (4-4-4-8) STA (4-4-4-8) WIS (4-4-6-8-2) INT (4-1). I parsed an average of about 2.2k (low around 1.9, high around 2.5)with this setup. My auto attack dropped to about 42% of my DPS.

Now I also tried doing a parse of raw auto attack DPS, and the DW spec was better by about 200. So the only thing I can really conclude is that the lack of matching weapon delays is what murders my DPS when I dual wield. So until such a time as I have a viable secondary, or, say, Dual Wield mastery, I s'pose it'll be S&B for me. If I'm overlooking something, I'd love for someone to prove me wrong, after all I'll be the first to admit Dual Wield definitely has cool points over the board.

yeha having 2 different dealys throws things off they need to make our epic 4.0 cause if you can get your hands on empowered talon, lifespike, ect they are awesome weps that id use over a 3.5 delay wep. matching is awesome and helps but not worth it when you can get tons more dps from a better wep
