I guess I've been missing something... adornments on offhand weapons will proc off autoattack, even though it says it only works on the primary weapon in the description? I'm going to have to get another adorn if that is indeed accurate.

Yes, they will still proc, but only when the offhand weapon hits.

I know Pinski just answered this...but by way of explanation, the term "Only the primary weapon will trigger this effect" can very easily cause confusion...what it means by "Primary", in this case, is the weapon the adornment is applied to. Really, they ought to change the wording in the description. Most folks (I would guess) see "Primary" and think main hand...I know I did at first.

All weapon procs become innate to the weapon it's on, whether applied or pre-existing. Some dev posted that a while back and it's true.

i wanted to revisit this issue real quick. seems like with all the procs in tso, spell crit on our weapons would be a bigger boost than the vampiric piths. any thoughts?

They're about equal. I like SC better now because vampirics don't shit when you're ranged.

got my myth last nite and lost other adornment. Thinking SC or vamp handle, and I never range attack. Any thoughts? Kall says they do about the same and he goes SC now since vamp doesn't trigger on bow...but obvs i don't use bow.

i switched to pwr regen ones, from healing ones. we don't always have an illy for the scout group.

i NEVER have power issues now, and my DPS is directly proportional to that.

also, i rarely ranged (got Ch8 drums). only on Switch and Abs.

i really don't believe in bumping stats that can be improved using temp adorns, i mean 2-4% SC isn't gonna be noticeable to someone with non-avatar gear and in less that spectacular group set-ups.

if i were in avatar gear and had the same group set-up every raid, sure, i'd put on SC adorns...

majority of these dirges on here are VERY knowledgeable on the class, but sometimes don't take into consideration each toon's situation. i.e. group set-up, gear, raid DPS, etc. only what they would do...

In fairness, power issues are a situational need. IE if you have have a chanter then having two Phantom procs are wasted potential dps. Regardless of the what a player/guild is able to kill, I have a hard time seeing the rational in reducing one's maximum potential.

It seems more sensible to acquire a piece of power proc gear that you could use as needed. The Mynzak Ring ideally, but to address the player base you're describing there are easily obtainable alternatives: TNT Cloak, RE Ring. This makes more sense to me than to handicap your something like your Mythical for situational benefits.

power adorns are a waste... if you dont have a chanter in your group recruit one, fuck...

dont stack a raid with useless classes when groups need certain things to work at their max potential.

now vamp handles are not bad, however i dont use them. i use SC cause i get alot more out of it. and the dps from the vamp handles is horrible.
