It seems more sensible to acquire a piece of power proc gear that you could use as needed. The Mynzak Ring ideally, but to address the player base you're describing there are easily obtainable alternatives: TNT Cloak, RE Ring. This makes more sense to me than to handicap your something like your Mythical for situational benefits.

i think i get what ur sayin, but i'd rather sacrifice the weapon adornment than ANY of my jewelry of overlord's cloak...
idk, i may drop 1 adorn and see how i do, when we are missing the 'chanter.

dont stack a raid with useless classes when groups need certain things to work at their max potential.
now vamp handles are not bad, however i dont use them. i use SC cause i get alot more out of it. and the dps from the vamp handles is horrible.

don't run the guild, or the raids...
so my hands are a bit tied...i do what i have to, with what i've got.
how much difference do you see, personally, from your adorns?

I am not quite sure on it yet myself, if you wear both SC adorn, it adds 4% spell crit, which is in fact something like 1,33% more dmg to your spell and proc.
The vampiric adorn is sometimes up to 150 dps or more, so that would mean that basically spell and proc should represent around 12k dps for you for the SC adorns to be better.

Also, critical hit chances change a bit lower when fighting orange con mobs.

The high resist rate on vampirics negate this.

Re: Adornment for Epic?
I had been using phantom handles for the rare fight when power was an issue. Switched to vampirics, for all reasons to help out a bit when working on the training dummy with choker. Havent noticed any difference in power since the change so not switching back.
I didnt even know the spell crit adorns existed. Could deffinitly see that being more benificial on jousting and AE fights. Going to have to look at a few parses to tell for sure, but I would think vampiric main hand and spell crit off hand would be a decent set up.

Doh, yeah, I was referring to the SC adornment in my previous post.
I understand that a weapon miss or adornment not procing could be percieved indirectly as the adornment becoming resisted. I did not know there were resist rates specifically on the adornment it self. I'm a bit confused here or missing something. Can ya elaborate on this?

surely spell crit main hand and vampiric off hand?
that way when u change ur off hand u don't have to fish out another 40-100pp (server dependant)
And I think I'm going to try SC on myth with vampiric off hand and try to get my hands on that damned choker to whack 12 DPS mod on it and finally get rid of those T2 ears of mine (eugh), as I currently have ethernaughts in neck.

Except if you put Vampiric on your offhand it won't proc off CAs. Thus meaning your DPS will be lower.
