I was looking through the forum and couldn't find anything on this topic. I was wondering what adornment people are using, or would recommend, on their mythical Lamentation of the Intrepid? I was thinking of putting on the +2 spell crit, but would like to hear some other opinions before i shell out the money for a crystalized mana.

A health proc & divine damage? That is better than a viral crossguard that will add to disease damage? I was thinking that since I'm already doing disease damage that boosting it would help.

A damage proc that returns health - and if I recall correctly it adds more DPS than the other damage/DoT adornments.

As for a viral crossguard.. those are for piercing weapons and your epic is slashing.

ive noticed the t8 common fire adorn does a few more damage then the vamp handle, but it doesnt heal....someone check it out

do you mean it does more dmg per proc, or it seems to be doing more damage on the zone wide?

b/c the cheapo treasured adornments might have higher dmg per proc, but the proc rate is half that of the vampiric


as for any of the +dmg type, either disease of slashing or whatever, those are junk regardless of the type of dmg

Im saying generally including proc rate, the smoldering molten temper (for me) does 625, 1.1 time per minute while the vamp handle does 284 2.3 times a minute for 568

ill check my parses and see what my zonewide comes up on each, i have the smoldering on my epic and the vamp on my talon so ill see what i come up with

The proc adorned to the off hand weapon will always parse lower than the proc on the main hand, since the main hand procs off autoattacks and combat arts and the off hand only procs off autoattacks.

Smoldering Vampiric Handle does the most damage and heals on top of it.

I'm curious if an adornment will stay on the epic after you get your mythical update....from an adorned fabled.

I'm pretty sure it's a "new" weapon and will lose the adornment, but I'm sure someone knows for sure.
