I've seen that before and it makes sense, but at what point does x amount of crit, dps, haste or whatever become greater than y double attack?
Assume epic or mythical weapon, and only melee skill using the recomended casting order.
So 2% DA > 7 DPS, is 2% DA > 9 DPS? Is an item with 3% melee crit better than an item with 2% DA?
Also why is 2% DA better than 7% DPS mod? if I attack 100 times for 100 dmg, that's 10,000 dmg. If I double attack 2% of the time, or 2 times, that's 10,200 damage.
If I attack 100 times for 107 dmg (7% dps mod), that's 10,700 dmg.
I'm not doubting Kall's findings, just trying to understand the mechanic that makes it work. Does DPS go in before other factors like melee skills, mob levels, etc? Is diminishing returns factored in on the original formula?
