Got a general question I am hoping someone can help me with.

Lets assume a guild that is moving its way through VP and raids 3 nights a week...

I realize that Dexterous Sonata seems to be a pretty useful AA ability but I only have 151 points..

WOuld it be possible to respec and put all my points into the Shadows tree so I could spec Dex Sonata and beyond?

1. Would it be worth it to do the above essentially losing the bard and dirge AA lines?

2. WOuld it be better to keep working at AA and take Dexterous Sonata when I have the points I need for it without gimping my other 2 lines?

Not beyond Dexterous Sonata, you need 170 AAs to start filling the bottom line (although now I say that someone did mention there was a way to 'cheat the system' but I can't remember how )

I respecced before 170, losing some points in the Dirge tree, but keeping Bard intact, didn't seem to have a negative impact.

I think this has been discussed in more depth in this thread if it helps.

The gist of it is dump as much as you can from the EoF Dirge tree because besides the Luck line, the entire tree is garbage.

When I hit 150 AA's I respeced and kept my standard AA specs in the bard line.

Kept 2 lines in the Dirge tree that let me keep Magnetic Note and Luck of the Dirge

That let me get Dextrous Sonata and I think it has actually helped. I'd suggest that you do it.
