Not only is this a huge change in a very important game mechanic, it just seems unnecessarily complex. Past experience has shown an inability to balance much simpler things than this and a lack of desire to properly test much of anything. I just don't see how there going to get this right without a ton of testing and I'm scared that 51 is going to be live in a week.

I thought TSO was a giant step in the right direction for balancing the tank classes and giving them more defined rolls. They follow that up by trashing any progress they made and starting from scratch...

not that its relative to 99% of the posters here... but there goes me tanking for mentor groups

My wife(inq) and I frequently mentor guildies for both their benefit and ours(AA)... this is quite often dps classes and Hyran's is absolutley the difference between me being able to hold aggro on a few classes.

While becoming more suited for their designed purpose... they have for the second time removed a huge chunk of usefullness

as far as the changes in regards to being applied to group and raid Tanks I'll be awaiting the outcome like most everyone else

While I am sure that SOE will fuck it up, and then "Fix" the problem, which in turn fucks it even worse, in the end, the same as all the other changes SOE has made to the game the last 4 years, they will fix it to make people who can't play be good, and people who can play bored.

So nothing new there.

Here's a scary thought. The same guy who did these changes couldn't even balance races correctly.

just a quick fyi for the dirges, aggression is MUCH more useful with changes, aggression is now increasing taunt size, according to my number crunching 1 aggression = .61% increase in taunt size
also, aeralik made a post stating that having aggression higher than the mobs lvl plus 10%(lvl 80 mob needs 440 or higher) makes taunts UNRESISTABLE, these changes make hyrans even more desirable to me as a guardian
