anyone else really disappointed in this weapon?

in comparison to....

(the proc on the warmaster displays wrong bc it was linked from a lvl 1)

not to mention....

well, whats the point of it. its worse than the scout weapon, and last tier weapon. I like the proc, but what hell is the spread so shitty.

didn't see that the proc was groupwide. that considered ... it's interesting. I still think the spread should match the other weapons though.

So let me get this right... the proc gives everyone in the group 3 ticks of 575-702 dmg kinda like the illusionist mythical does for mana regen (basic proc syntax is exactly the same). It does this proc 1.8 times a minute. So everyone gets on average 1915.5 ((575+702)/2 * 3) damage per proc, and as the grand total for 6 players the bard basically provides 11493 damage per proc.

And you're disappointed?

If that is the case, then this weapon is amazing. If it's self-only, then no, it's crap.

+5 accuracy on it would be so nice also :/
maybe up the rating a little would be great to compare to other avatar weapons
but yeah the proc is for each member of your group (someone said that in dirge channel but don't really sure)

Even if everyone gets the proc it's not great. The top end is 42 off which is a huge deal with our epic and you lose 2 DA, 7 MC, and a proc/5 accuracy if you're comparing to the Dagger.

So pretty much you're just shifting your own damage to your group because when your epic procs, you're going to lose like 300-400 damage per swing.

This weapon is a lot better for a Troub than it is for a Dirge.

hell, marrow's song even has a higher top end than this sword... 353 vs 342... wtf were they thinking

this sword is situational at best for a dirge, the only fights i seeing it being of any real value is fights like avatars where we are fighting at ranged alot... although i think at the moment its only triggering off melee attacks
