OK my raidleader thinks that a 3rd dirge is a "waste of space" please vote whether you agree or disagree, and if you have an opinion of your own please say so. Don't say yes just because Kall and whoever else says so, though I respect their opinions I want to hear the real reasons.
Oh and make sure you read the poll correctly, and answer correctly, its a little double-negative-tastic

To clarify, by 3rd Dirge I mean 5 bards. As in there is a 3rd dirge in a DPS group with a troub and an illy.

It really depends on how many casters vs melee you have imo. You should have 4 bards, 1 dirge for the MT group, one for the OT group (if needed) then your 2 DPS groups are they melee heavy or caster heavy?

If you have very few casters even 4 dirges wouldn't be a waste imo.

No, you should have 5 bards now with how much of a difference it is for the group between running 2 bards vs. 1 bard+DPS class.

Just curious, what is your current raid setup? Is it Dirge in MT/OT group and Troubs in the other two for castings?

If RL doesn't place at least one bard in every group, RL fails!

Having Dirge/Troub in a hybrid group pwnz too. Have your RL try it sometime.

When we added a 3rd Dirge the trb + Drige grp dps went up dramatically. It also helps when one is missing so we at least have an MT and OT considering their importance to those grps.

I'm not a fan of three Dirges. Yes, the Troubador-Bard group makes that Dirge have great numbers but the 3rd CoB is generally worthless and our AE dps is garbage. I prefer something like: Illy, Healer, Troubador, Wizard, Conj, Brigand

If each dirge has their VP sets and myths, then I'd agree. I'm not sure where their raid progression stands ATM.

I could see the argument for both, but 3 Dirges are nice in a melee heavy raid force. I'd perfer to see 3-dirge two troub, but 2 dirge and 2 troub can work too.
