Default DPS Casting order

After debuffing and whatnot what are some peoples casting order? what do you cast first etc I can't seem to break the 1500ish mark I've redone my AA's so many times based on this forum. From reading casting order may play a part in some more DPS.

And ya I know we are not super DPS scouts. Just would like to break the 2k mark.

Debuffs, heh. They're all worked into my casting order except for the green encounter buffs. For me, the effectiveness of green encounter buffs are extremely relative; in other words, not always effective doing them.

If the encounter durations are longer than approximately 40seconds or if i gotta run back to the mob after a knockback, then I would throw in a green encounter buff here and there.

no way man, if ur struggling with your mob then you should be landing all the green debuffs and keen tactics. The green ones would be perfectly good if they were single target debuffs, so the fact that they can effect more than 1 mob is even better (99 times out of 100).

If you are struggling to solo any mob, i would seriously consider the following to open:
Deprivating Shot -> Keen Tactics -> Green Debuffs -> DoTs -> Nukes

or if it's a mob that seems to be getting good hits on you, skip dots and go straight to nukes.

and remember, kiting is an option in most cases. We are lucky by virtue of the fact we can root and attack on pull, then slow the mob down by about 70% or whatever and then more or less keep them that slow.

If you are level 80 and have at least your fabled weapon I'd make a guess that you're problem lies not with casting order, but that you're not pausing to allow your autoattack to hit each time.

aye ur weapon does do some nice dps. normally i can just leave myself on a solo or even single up white on autoattack and i would kill it within 15s.

I would say that most white mobs should be going down in 5, 10 seconds at most if you have epic (that are solo) but seriously, we were not made for heroic soloing. We just don't fit into the mechanics that way.

I agreed with ya. Trust me, if you are struggling or think you will struggle with an encounter, then most definately the encounter duration will be approximately 40 seconds or longer. Otherwise, I think ya are wasting DPS.

Regarding autoattacks. Pull out the guild training dummy. Do 60 test cases. 30 by spamming your casting order like crazy. 30 by using your casting order that delays your autoattack the least. For me, I only noticed a 400 DPS, on the top end, difference. Yes, I actually took the time to do this. lol. I was bored. I think raiding and grouping is not the best test environment due to all of the anomalies.

on palace trash, I parse 1.6k without autoattack in range, 3k with autoattack in range but button mashing and 4-5k by doing all debuffs and then dots etc. Kall's casting order thread is very useful for that (and I think I have touched on it in my thread so far)
