and for levelling purposes yes, but it doesn't really matter as if you have acquired a decent piercing off hand, ur skill won't take long to get up there if you're using it all the time

I'm not sure what I'm gna put about deities atm because the obvious option is anashti, but then again some people have different ideas and if i was to put up bristlebane i think i would get flamed to hell again lolz :P

I suggest for each combat art/ability you post the lvl and where it's obtained.

Ex.

"Shriek Blade"
(Lvl xx spell: Upgradable to Master II)

"Elegy of Awakening"
(Lvl xx spell: Non-upgradable purchased from the Dirge class merchant)

etc...etc...

eq2i.com provides a decent spell progression outline. ya can do a direct to link to the Category:Dirge - EQ2i outline. When ya click a ca/spell, the progression is shown including which are MasterII choices.

because they have a spreadsheet of all spells used by all classes in t8, so for dirges that includes hyran's etc it's quite useful tbh!
