Am on PvP server so:

a) can't talk on world channels iirc, and
b) need slightly better than average gear just to get to the instance alive

Got a guild now and have run about 12-15 instances this week. Haven't even seen a useful drop let alone rolled on one and only one exquisite chest. I forgot I'm the unluckiest Dirge alive

ahh, but still, MC is a good first step to good armour.

guild grouping is very useful too, and even if you do 12-15 instances a week and get no loot, u should be getting 24-30 shards a week which is enough to get t1 shard armour within 1 and a half weeks, t2 within about a month and then jewellry within another few weeks, so you should be fine, just stick at it...

and if your guild raids, even better, as you may get other nice equipment from raids (and that's all DKP ie based on ur commitment rather than luck ).

If your guild doesn't raid keep an eye out for pick up raids, dirges are usually in demand. Go on stuff like PR and SOH, avoid VS pick up raids like the plague. Hopefully you'll get lucky on some loot rolls for once!

yes I have a 77 MC fetish, but it's great stuff to get you started on shard instance runs. So long as you don't play like a spakker, you will be fine in instance runs.
