So my offhand pretty much blows... Using the Razor Sharp Sabre off the snake... and im relatively certain its killing my dps....

that weapon is pretty bad... the top end is relatively low and is probably why its affecting your dps so much, before they added the proc and made it a sabre it was actually pretty decent like a 353 top end instead the 338 it is now... try getting a Marrows Song, Ethereal Sabre of Void Beast, Milyex Talon... you're in DF so Warmaster and Bladesinger weaps should also be obtainable at some point...

Bladesinger's top end sucks but apparently the proc does some sick groupwide damage

I'm currently torn between the razor sharp saber and marrow's song atm for dps...they parse about the same, probably because the saber has 5 da (and counting the proc) :\

I'm currently using nox and want to replace with either marrows or razor sharp, but would rather have the voidbeast one, as that has a nice top end for ppl with high crits.

And one point about nox that I overlooked when arguing for it in the dirge channel: The normalisation makes it suck balls if you are using a 4.0 delay main hand (which I assume you all are). It's not BAD but there's definately better blades out there. There's a lot of crazy jazz that goes on with it too which I can't be arsed explaining, just take this as a hint...if you are a casual grouper, and happen to get into a SoH raid that it drops off, then it's probably going to be the best off hander you see for a while, if you raid even lower TSO content, then you are likely to find something better.

stick with anything that's 4.0 delay, high end spread and gives some sort of DA/MC

p.s. i now confirm throatripper does more dps than nox notis, although i think that the razor sharp saber will parse higher.

I love me some Incandescant Blade off Nexona. There is no MC/DA on it, bit the proc is virtually always up.
