Default CoB timer in ACT

I can't seem to get a timer to work for this. I have several other timers that work fine but if anyone could walk through setting this up, it would be very helpful.

I have 3 dirges in raid. All have mythicals and we have a set order to cast CoB. I very often miss my cast because I'm watching other things and not focusing on the chat box to see when the other dirges cast theirs.

I'd like to make a timer that signals me 15 or 20 seconds after XXXXXXX says to the raid "Chime of Blades incoming!!!" but i can't get it to work.

Thanks!

hey there,

it basically uses regex to find a player name.

try using this for now, I will pull the regex out of it tonight (if I can find it lol) and post it on here.

CoB Program

hope it helps as a temporary solution!

Check the 3rd page of ACT Gravitas and You. I've posted up how to do this in ACT there. If you have any problems, send me a tell in game and I can walk you through it. http://www.eq2flames.com/dirges/2171...tas-you-3.html

right:

for your own, you can put a macro on your CoB that emotes something abstract. for me I put VCB. I then set up an act trigger looking for '* VCB', which sets off 'Vuetee CoB' spell timer. You then go into spell timers and it's pretty obvious from there.

If it's your raid members, you create an ACT trigger that is (say your friends name is Vuetee):
Vuetee * CoB

or COB if that's how their CoB macro puts it.

then that sets off the timer for Vuetee CoB...

do that for each dirge and ur sorted

Hey Samedai - thx. I was using your post as a guide before but just couldn't get it to work. I played around with it today and it's working nicely.

Thanks a lot!
