Aye I meant if I had 5 pieces that weren't Chest. Should I fill chest with Molton or Volcanic?

Our BP doesn't seem that great unless you look at the CoB bonus.

Wheras iirc Molton has a nice thing or 2 on it.

Definately Volcanic without thinking.

Molten +5 DPS mod ; group heal proc
Volcanic +3 MC ; +3 SC

Unless I am underestimating the 2.3x per min, melee triggered, 770 group heal proc.

From what I've been hearing the heal proc doesnt proc as much as it should be. Also the only pieces worth comparing in the set are the helms and even then, the Volcanic wins easily.

Again if you have the five set the t3 chest is junk, there are better items in vp and soh imo

I haven't seen any of the better chest pieces drop yet that are better than t3 volcanic. I know they're out there. the t3 volcanic is sure as hell more reliable to drop for sure to intermediate raiding guilds.

Are people wearing the 5-piece T3 set in lieu of 4-piece VP/TSO?
Losing 30 sec CoB would seem to be an epic failure for raiding.

I could see wearing the 5-piece T3 for PvP since those fights are so short, but that's the only scenario I could see using it.

Woven shadow and Lave forged are ones I would use in place of the t3 after getting 5 peices. If your raiding guild can't get those then /guildquit

edit-Unless your using is specifically for the crit mit.

Woven Shadow - 5MC + dmg proc (whats the parse dmg % of this proc?)

Lava-forged Chainmail - 4DA + 85CA mod + decent stats

T3 Chest - 3MC + 3SC + 10CM + 30 sp/ca dmg mod + possible set bonus

Unless the dmg proc on the Woven shadow is higher than 3% in total dmg parse reliably, then the woven shadow sucks compared to the t3 chest especially in TSO content. If your DA is already 15 or 20 points higher or more than MC, then ya should really invest into MC and chunk the Lava-forged Chainmail. Big difference when dmg crits 37% of the time compared to when dmg crit 57% of the time.

For the proc: if you're the only guy in the raid using the woven shadow, it's amazing. If you share it with 1 other guy, it's above average. If you share it with 2, it's average. If you share it with 3+, it's trash.

Aye I was meaning since you already have the proc enhance there's no point wearing the T3 Volcanic unless you literally got jack all to replace it.

Sounds reasonable, may be able to get rid of my T3 gloves, helm and chest soon for T4, but still stats on T3 are nice (volc).
