I hate to be a bastard about this, but I've been in a group the last two days and both days it dropped. Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. First time we handed it to our dirge and the jewelry box autopicked the Cartilage Earstud for him, he was able to get a GM to fix it and he got the drum. The next day it dropped and we offered it to our MT dirge (who always whines about the drum never dropping), and instead of waiting for the group invite to stick he zoned into a fresh zone and got a lock out timer!

The original loot timer expired, the exquisite chest disappeared and nobody got the jewelry box! Fun times, now we have to listen to our MT dirge complain for the next 100 years! We petitioned it so hopefully somebody from the group will get the jewelry box.

Both groups had first timers in the zone, but I doubt that had anything to do with it. Good luck and phat lewtz!

In the next patch, according to the test notes, he'll be able to buy it from a vendor for 150 shards. So only a few months of him complaining, not 100 years ;)

Can someone please tell me where this drops in mm? Is it down in the basement? Is there an instance in MM? I read through this thread and never saw where this drops at. Sorry if this is the wrong place for the question just new to the game (level 75 ATM)

Mistmyr Manor is an instance itself, in Loping Plains. I'm not sure what you're thinking of, but it doesn't have a basement. The loot drops from Primogen Daishirou. It doesn't matter whether you follow the script in the instance, or just go through killing everything instead. You'll understand what is meant by that when you go in.

Sounds like you need to find a new guild Ellias, you've got one retarded dirge who doesn't know how to pick the drums from the box, another retarded dirge who is not only retarded because if he wants the drums that bad and still doesn't have them it must mean he doesn't play a lot but he also zoned in before getting an invite, and you have a tank who is going to call you out on like this on a public forum.
