The drop rate on these is a fucking joke. We're doing the zone pretty much as often as we can and it just isn't dropping.

But I just had a thought. We're doing the zone the quickest way possible, i.e. just running thru it and killing all names, not following the script.

So my question is to any of you dirges who are lucky enough to own the bloody drums... can you remember when you ran the zone and they dropped, did you follow the script and not kill the names?

I know that it supposedly only affects whether you can loot the extra chests but thought it was worth asking.

LOL!!! Yeah, i'm feeling your pain. Doing the samething, we don't worry about the script and just kill the names. clear it all in 20 minutes. Have not got it to drop yet.

I was told that the drop rate has been reduced sometime ago to a 2% chance of the drum dropping. grrrr.

I gave up. I have never seen them. Only 2-3 of our guildies have and they said it was very early in the expansion. So I am convinced they no longer drop.

they still drop. i got mine about 2 weeks ago. can't give any advice on it though. they went up for sale in channel and, after 78 runs of my own to try and get them, i went ahead and paid to never have to see that damn zone again.

Same here, never seen it drop when I was there with my Dirge, but I've seen it twice when tanking it for others on my Bruiser

It drops, just for when you want it to..

I gave up after 5 runs :/ since i have seen people do millions of runs with no such luck

/petition for them to appear in marketplace imo :P

They are barely in the top 10 charm slot items for us and definitely not worth the grind if you ask me. I militantly tried grinding them for a few weeks and said f that noise. Grind Crucible for Essence of Mastery and other decent charms drop all over the place, even off trash in x4 zones.

Just to bad Essence is broken, bt when they do fix it, it sure is one of the best charm slots there is, part from avatar ones ofc..

Heh, yeah I definitely hear you. But it's like the bloody priniciple of it now. Why should they have such a ridiculously low drop rate?? Fabled legs dropped for us tonight which have the same obscene 1.6% rate or whatever it was. Like someone in my group said, we won the lottery, but the wrong fucking one.

I can never find a group for the fuckin zone. Not to mention I hate that zone, it's such a pain in the ass. So, I am not really bothering with the drums. I'll farm the crucible and pray the one from palace trash drops.
