Default DPS Since GU52

Soo the proc changed are now in - how has it effected your dps ?

ive done a fair few tests and to be honest i cant really see much difference (but then im always in MT group so miss a lot of the nice buffs) im still parsing between 6-8k with a few bigger spikes.

from what ive seen troubs have been hit a fair bit by this change

so how are the changes for you guys ?

Cheers

not noticed a difference here... Just haven't seen Intrepid strike over-ride itself quite as much...

My dps would increase from update if I had time to run the zones and get some of the armour (so far all I have is the WoE drop improvements)...

meh, but unfortunately a lot of dirges parses have gone down significantly, i don't understand why, since all it's doing is multiplying procs by:
((1-SCdecimal)*ORIGPROCDMG)+((SCdecimal*ORIGPROCDMG)/1.3)

so in my case, about 0.7*10% + 0.3*10%/1.3 = 3.5% + 2.3% = 5.8%...

so for someone ~30% SC it's effecting you by nearly halving your procs :/

or something similar to that, would work it out properly but im tired lol!...

You completely forgot base spell damage...

meh okay then...

((1-SCdecimal)*ORIGPROCDMG)+((SCdecimal*ORIGPROCDMG)/1.3)
->
((1-SCdecimal)*(ORIGPROCDMG/1+BSD)) + ((SCdecimal*(ORIGPROCDMG/1+BSD))/(1.3 + BSCD))

does that look better?

where BSD = Base Spell Damage and BSCD = Base Spell Crit Damage Mod...

if you wanna work out the %age loss, just put 100 in as ORIGPROCDMG (which is like assuming your whole damage is your procs), and the number you get at the end is the %age damage it will now do in relation to that.

This proc change really just makes SC less useful for us :/ but having said that, a lot of high end dirges have capped MC and DA (inclusive of Anni I guess, and changing out for MC gear when you have IA perhaps?), which means we need to really be putting it in SC neways :/

meh, I didn't have very many procs in the first place apart from intrepid strike and T3 set bonus and the ethernaught one... so it's not much of a big impact for me, but I can see how a lot of dirges have lost a hell of a lot of damage, as I lose 42% from procs just from having 30% SC, you obviously lose more damage if you have more SC as it moves to the right part of the function rather than the left part, being divided by more crap... meaning the DPS you were putting out is significantly lowered...

I get it now... thank goodness I haven't got many procs to begin with!

I also didn't have much in the way of proc gear and I haven't seen much of a damage change. Some of the troubadors in my guild were hit quite hard, though.

just noticing a few parses from other night - I wasn't hit hard at all, and my CoB procced 100% of the time bizarrely ?! compared to ~20-40% that I used to do? obviously that's due to MC > SC...

my procs aren't actually that much worse than they were either, but like I said, I have less SC gear...
