so i have been noticing a lot recently, while comparing gear on EQ2Players, that many people are equipping their drum in the secondary slot and equipping a bad ass bow in their ranged slot.

How does that compare to dual wielding on the parse?

i just can't imagine that being more effective than dual wielding, or am i missing something?

what do the experts think?

I'd hazard a guess that the random EQ2Players database is grabbing info as people are macroing in a bow and drum to secondary for ranged stuff?

it doesnt randomly grab data... it grabs data after the character has been logged off. so any active (logged on players) will not update. people are just equipping thier drums to make thier stats look good for rankings is what i assume

Ah OK, Didn't know that! And, wow, so people actually remember to do shit like that lol? When I log out at 5am its usually in a haze, and it's all I can do to take the bloody MMB earring off... (or not).

Ya I love it the day after bastion when I'm like, wtf is wrong with my crits (I usually swap my trak earring) then I figure it out, and say oh ya don't forget to take off your mmb earing. Then 12 other people go "fuck".
